7/18/2015: Patapsco Valley State Park

posted Jul 15, 2015, 7:57 AM by Sarah Ouadah

Team,

This week we'll move outside the city for our long run and Patapsco is a favorite for many Baltimore runners, so if you've never been here before, you're in for a treat! The half marathon group will run 6 miles and the marathon group will run 12. That's a big jump from last week, so pace yourself out there.

There are full bathrooms on this route as well as a pit toilet. There is also a water fountain by the bathrooms. We strongly suggest you carry your own water as well since the forecast is hot and humid for Saturday. Remember to sign up for carpooling if you need a ride or can offer one.

Meet-up

We'll meet at 8 am in the parking lot under the railroad on Ilchester Road. If you're using GPS, the address is "98 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City". Keep an eye out for "no parking" signs. If the parking lot is full or off-limits, there are other places to park along Ilchester.
