3/8/2014: Inner Harbor

You've come so far this season! I've seen your hard work pay off as you've trained and improved over the past several months. I am excited to see your results on race day in only one week!

On the original schedule, we were slated to run at Robert E. Lee Park in north Baltimore. However, due to late season snowfall, we've opted to move the run to the tried-and-true Inner Harbor route.

We'll meet at Canton Waterfront Park, where there is ample free parking.

3199 Boston St

Since you're racing next week, marathoners will run a mere 10 miles and half marathoners will run 8. Here's the route (that many of you know by heart by now):

Marathoners should turn around where the Promenade ends at Key Highway. Half marathoners should turn around by the Baltimore Visitors Center, just south of Harborplace.

  • The restrooms at Canton Waterfront are usually locked. The best place for a bathroom break is Harborplace.
  • Bring your own water. There is a fountain by Rusty Scupper that is probably off for the winter. If you get desperate, know that I have successfully begged water at a couple of Fells Point bars in the past ;)
  • High of 57 on Saturday! Break out those shorts!
  • Join us for post-race breakfast at Brian's house.
Can't wait,
