Five HMT-runners braved last Saturday's heatwave to run a challenging 16 Miles at Gunpowder Falls' NCR trail (now known at the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail). With a late start at 8:20 am, the temperature had already climbed to 100 F by the time the group was finishing. Fortunately, the NCR trail is shaded from dawn 'til dusk and temperatures are much lower than those reported in Baltimore. If you haven't run here before be sure to join us next time we run it!
